Pastor Tim Frasher, Ch, Capt, USAF
Pastor Tim Frasher moved to Spencer in 2021 with his wife, Meredith, and their three kids, Parker, Macyn, & Beckett. They also have three dogs, Franklin, Bailey, and Norman. He's been a pastor for over 15 years, ordained in the Global Methodist Church. While serving the church he also serves in the Air Force as a chaplain at the 132d Air National Guard in Des Moines. Right now, he's pursuing his doctorate military chaplaincy in Washington, D.C., focusing on how spiritual and financial wellbeing can help service members. Pastor Tim loves Jesus, making friends, reading, lifting weights, and podcasts. He's all about helping people spiritually and practically, both at church and in the military.
Pastor Joseph Leggett
Pastor Joseph's journey is akin to most: filled with starts and stops, U-turns, getting lost, and being found. Thankfully the good Lord has been King to him and continues to guide him through it all. Born in Austin, Texas and raised in the Lonestar state, he accepted the call to full-time pastoral ministry and relocated to the 'far north' of Spencer, IA in 2020.
He married his wife Sandy in 2007 and they have been blessed with two wonderful children, Irie and Ruby. His faith walk has been an ecumenical one, each flavor of our faith teaching him something vital as has his formal education via his Associate in Music & Sound, a Bachelors in Cultural Anthropology and the Master of Divinity that he is currently working toward.
Kay Clancy, Office Mgr/Finance Sec
Kay is blessed with a wonderful family, including two adult children, Whytne of Spirit Lake, Iowa, and Chad of Hamilton, Montana, as well as her granddaughter, Emma, who is currently attending Dordt College. She cherish's the memories of her late husband, Jeff.
Kay finds great joy in studying the Bible and sharing the teachings of the Lord with others. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, canning, knitting, crocheting, crafting greeting cards, and cooking—creative pursuits that bring both peace and fulfillment.
Kay has held an administrative position since 1999 and feel truly blessed by God in both work and personal life. River’s Edge Church is an integral part of her family, and is grateful for the community and spiritual growth it provides.
Gracie Dammann, Childcare Director
Gracie is married to her husband, Jesse, and together they have four adult children, MaKayla, MacKinzie, Jaida, and Alex along with his wife, Alivia. They also have one dog, Keeta who has been part of the family for the last 11 years.
Gracie has spent over 15 years working in childcare, including owning her own licensed in-home childcare and serving as a childcare director. She has a heart for helping children grow, learn, and know the love of Jesus. One of her greatest joys is teaching the littlest ones about who He is and how deeply He cares for them.
In her free time, Gracie enjoys doing Bible studies, traveling with her husband, and spending time with family. She is incredibly grateful for River’s Edge Church and loves seeing how God continues to move and work through this church family.
